Islamabad United Playing Eleven in PSL

Islamabad United is undoubtedly the most consistent PSL side thus far. They are based in the capital city of Pakistan, Islamabad. This team is owned by Leonine Global Sports who won the bidding for US$15 Million in 2015. The franchise had a dream start as they won the first season in 2016. They have won two PSL titles so far and have a massive fan following across Pakistan due to the fearless brand of cricket they play. Their home ground is Rawalpindi National Cricket Stadium.

Islamabad United has taken part in all eight seasons of PSL yet played and has done well in most of those seasons. They nurtured many young domestic cricketers by giving them continuous runs and helping them get a place in the national team. Shadab Khan is one such example who got picked by this team in 2017 in the emerging category and broke into the Pakistan national team. Now he is the current vice-captain of Pakistan in limited-overs cricket.

Shadab Khan (C)

His rise to the limelight came through PSL in 2017 when he was chosen by IU as an emerging player. He availed the opportunity and performed brilliantly.
