The Peshawar Zalmi Cricket team is based in Peshawar which is the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. This team is a Twenty20 franchise cricket team. The Yellow Storm team plays in PSL (Pakistan Super League). Pakistan Super League is organized by PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) and is one of the biggest tournaments in Pakistan. The owner of the team is Javed Afridi who is the CEO of Haier Pakistan and owner of MG Motors Pakistan. Peshawar team is captained by Babar Azam who is the top-order player of the Pakistan International team. This team was settled in 2015 and became the winner of PSL for one time in 2017.

Babar Azam, Peshawar Zalmi

Babar Azam became part of the Zalmi Cricket team in 2023. He is the captain of the Peshawar Zalmi and a Top-Order player. He is also the captain of the Pakistan International Cricket team of all three formats. He made his first-ever ODI debut against the Zimbabwe Team on May 31, 2015. On October 13, 2016, against West Indies, he made his first Test debut. He named playing eleven for the T20I against England and made his first-ever T20I debut on September 7, 2016.

He has achieved the most victories in T20I, in this sense he is the most successful captain of T20I. In cricket ranking, he is ranked in first position in ODI, fourth in Tests, and third in T20I. Babar Azam scored his fifth ODI century against West Indies in 2017 and became the second fastest player after Quinton De Kock to score a fifth ODI century. At the very beginning of his career, he proved himself in front of the world with his fastest batting and level-headed attitude.

Wahab Riaz, Peshawar Zalmi

Wahab Riaz remained the captain of the Yellow Storm team before the captaincy of Babar Azam and played for the Pakistan International team. On August 18, 2010, he made his first Test debut against England and took his best average of 5/46 and made his first-ever ODI debut against Zimbabwe on February 2, 2008. Against Bangladesh on April 20, 2008, he played his first T20I for Pakistan International team. He is a brilliant fast bowler and in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup earned fame from Worldwide. He decided to take a break from red-ball cricket and just focused on short games.
